6 eggs (hard-boiled)
4big potatoes (boiled and mashed)
1 Maldivian chilly(seeds removed and chopped)
2tsp lime juice
1big onion (sliced thin)
1/2tsp pepper powder
11/3cup warm water
1/2cup vegetable oil
Oil for frying
In a bowl mix flour, oil, salt and pour warm water slowly mixing after each addition, if the dough is too sticky add little flour, if too dry add more water until you get a nonstick dough. Divide this dough in to balls Set aside.
Making the filling: Crush onion, chillies, mix all other filling ingredients other than egg. Season with salt for your taste
Making the patties: Cut each egg in to three equal wedges. Roll one ball of dough to about 5inch diameter. Put a tablespoon of potato mix in the middle of rolled dough.
Press one wedge inner part of egg inside potato mix. Fold the patty in half. Press and crimp the edge.
Deep fry until light golden brown........................enjoy
