Milk Toffee bark

1can Condensed Milk
300g sugar
1tsp Vanilla essence
2table spoons of butter
1/3cup water 

Butter a big flat tray keep it aside. In a large deep saucepan (It is important to use a deep big saucepan as the milk will rise while cooking) mix sugar and water. Keep the stove low and stir until sugar dissolves then add condensed milk. Keep stirring constantly add vanilla essence. When the mixture gets very thick, add 1tbsp butter and stir. Take off from stove top and pour the thick mixture on the tray we set aside earlier. Spread little bit. Leave until hardened and break into pieces. Serve or pack in gift bags..............................enjoy!

  1. cool, can i add cocoa or chocolate to make it a chocolate toffee???
