Here is another condensed milk cake recipe. I tested this
recipe some days back and cake came out soft & so yummy. I must say better than
my first condensed milk cake recipe.
Ingredients:
1 can (395g) sweetened condensed milk
4 eggs
120g all purpose flour
½ tablespoon baking powder
50g unsalted butter, melted and cooled
Icing sugar, for dusting
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF generously butter a 22cm
(9in) ring cake pan.
Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and beat well
until all ingredients are mixed well. Pour the batter into prepared pan and
bake for 20 minutes, or until risen and a skewer inserted in the center comes
out clean. Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool completely
before removing from the cake pan. Dust with icing sugar
before serving........................enjoy!!
anything that can substitute unsalted butter?
ReplyDeleteYoon, their is nothing which can substitute unsalted butter. But you can try Margarine but it's also salted .
Deletehi nadhu... just wanted to let u know that i made this and mine came out exactly like the pic u have posted here. I would though like this to be a bit more sweeter. You think i should add some sugar? is this the same as your other gerikirubokaiba recipe? the small round ones with the topping?
ReplyDeleteHi moondancer, thats nice, if you want more sweeter you can sprinkle some icing sugar on the cake, I don't know how the cake will come if added more condensed milk, you can give a try about 1/2cup you can add....thank you
Deletehi nadiya, just wanted to ask wheather butter is used in preparing batter o buttering the pan?
ReplyDeleteLucy I am so sorry for replying so so late , just today i was going through my posts and saw your comment, the butter mentioned in the ingredients is only for the cake, extra butter have to be used to butter the pan ...
DeleteHi, I would like to know whether this can be done without using a oven?
ReplyDeleteHI, I don't know if this can be baked without an oven,
